This Reshade addon, which was made by AssaultKifle47 hides any Reshade shaders from all HUD/UI elements.

Installation:

1. Download the addon version instead of the normal version of Reshade here: https://reshade.me/ ("Download ReShade X.X.X with full add-on support")

2. Before you run the Reshade installer make sure to move "d3d9.dll" from your GTAIV main folder to another location or
   rename the file temporarily (to "d3d9.dll-bckp" for instance).

3. Download: https://github.com/akifle47/EffectsBeforeUI/releases and move the "EffectsBeforeUI.addon" file to your GTA IV main folder.

4. Run the installer > click on "Browse" and select "GTAIV.exe" from your GTA IV main folder > select DirectX 9.

5. Now go back to the installer and click "Browse" and select "iCE3.0N reshade_config.ini" and click "Next".

6. On the effect packages page just click "Next" and on "Finish" then.

7. Open up your GTA IV main folder and rename the new "d3d9.dll" file from Reshade to "reshade.dll".

8. Move your old "d3d9.dll" back to your GTA IV main folder or in case you renamed it change the name back to "d3d9.dll".

9. Inside enbseries.ini change the settings from [Proxy] to the following:
   [PROXY]
   EnableProxyLibrary=true
   InitProxyFunctions=false
   ProxyLibrary=reshade.dll

10. Ingame you need to pres Pos1 to open up the Reshade menu. Go to settings and select "reshade-shaders > Shaders" as shader search path.

11. Now click reload on the effect page and everything should work fine.

12. Done

WARNING:
-This Reshade preset is only compatible with patch 4. The reason is that patch 7/8/EFLC needs dax.dll as a workaround in order to run ENB properly
 which is not compatible with the enbseries.ini changes Reshade would need. Without dax.dll you won't have any shadows and other visual issues.

-In case the Reshade preset doesn't load automatically when you launch the game you can load the config file manually
 by opening the ingame Reshade menu ("Pos1" by default). Select "iCE3.0N reshade_config.ini" in the preset load option.
 Preset should load automatically then.

-In the options tab you can set a custom key to enable/disable all effects and you can also change the key to open/close the Reshade menu.
 Other things are also configurable there. Reshade is easy to use since it works basically like other familiar setting windows.

-Make sure to be in performance mode (Little box on the bottom right) for better performance. That should be set by default with my preset.
